To obtain your P1 licence, you’ll need to pass two key stages:
- The driver knowledge test (DKT): A computer-based assessment that checks your understanding of road rules, signs, and safe driving principles.
- The practical driving test: Where you demonstrate your driving ability, hazard awareness, and road confidence under real-world conditions.

Our learner driver program
Whether you’ve never sat in the driver’s seat before or already have some experience, our learner driver program is structured to suit your pace and ability. Every lesson is personalised, we focus on what you need most to become a skilled, responsible, and test-ready driver.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn essential driving topics including:
- Understanding and applying the rules of the road
- Interpreting road signs, markings, and signals
- Developing strong observation and hazard perception skills
- Managing speed, braking, and safe stopping distances
- Learning about driver behaviour, awareness, and attitude
- Adapting to different road conditions and traffic environments

Each lesson includes cockpit drills and practical vehicle handling so you become familiar with every control, from steering and mirrors to indicators and blind-spot checks.
Confidence through practice
We believe that consistent, guided practice is the key to safe driving. Our lessons are designed to help you think ahead, react calmly, and make smart decisions on the road. You’ll also take mock tests to experience real test conditions, allowing you to fine-tune your performance before the big day.
In Queensland, learners are required to log 100 hours of supervised driving, including 10 hours of night driving, before sitting the P1 driving test. Our team helps you plan and record these hours efficiently, ensuring each session adds measurable progress toward your goal.

You can start driving lessons as soon as you receive your Learner Licence (L-Plates). Once you’ve passed your Driver Knowledge Test (DKT), our instructors will help you begin practical lessons at your own pace and confidence level.
